We are undertaking a Safety Survey to a Shopping Centre in Liverpool.
Reports were being received about spalling or falling concrete which were a big concern with the safety of members of the public.
We deployed our Concrete Inspection Team to undertake the removal of potential falling concrete that had either started spalling or was delaminating, some large pieces of concrete that were removed were very concerning.
Following instruction from our client, we also undertook 25 carbonation test samples to both bad and good areas around facias and soffits of the canopies around the precinct.
Our Safety Team carried out the inspection using scaffold towers for access to the canopies. Our Team are PASMA trained in the safe use, erection and dismantling of scaffold towers.
Our detailed report will be compiled and our findings will be used to compile a bill of quantities for repairs to the canopies.
